Well hello there!

My name is Laura and I am Mama of two beautiful girls and a creative who lives and breathes the magic of The Feminine Journey.

I studied photography while completing my Journalism Degree at UQ. A tiny little spark of passion was lit then that engulfed me once I became a mother myself. I wanted make time stand still. 

And now I want to do it for you.

I have always had a deep love for true connection between humans, the unabashed real type of connection. I believe, at the end of the day, these true moments even the smallest ones, are what mean the most. Are where the magic happens.

I believe in so much more than a just pretty picture (although we do create very pretty pictures together), I believe in capturing emotion, the real, the raw and the messy parts of femininity. Those memories hold so much more value to me than any pose ever could. 

Maternity, Newborn, and every year of our family are all moments of transition that we face in growing into the women we were meant to become. The fact that I get to capture them, stop time and hand them onto you to be remembered forever means more than you may ever know.

I’ve loved photography my whole life. I knew that I wanted to tell everyday stories in a way that made them magical since I was a little girl. I dreamt up this little business you’ve found during the long, sleepless nights of new motherhood. It was my dream for many years and now I get to live it every day. I wake up full of gratitude for that alone.

The biggest part of my mission is to have you, beautiful woman, captured in those memories. To have you celebrated, with images that you love, to keep forever.

I don’t want to offer complicated packages. My mission is to tell your story and capture those incredible moments that happen, even the ones you didn’t notice. When you receive your photos and look back on your session, you’ll be so immersed in the memories it’ll be as if you’re right there doing it all over again.
